Wine and jazz go so well together. Both have their subtleties and complexities to tease the senses. Both have their romance and their legends.
Winterjazz Adelaide was a season of concerts presented by Junction Theatre Company principally to explore the history of jazz, but also to explore some interesting Australian wines, in the intimate atmosphere of the Junction Theatre Chapel.
There were four concerts in all, The Guitar in Jazz, The Saxophone in Jazz, The Voice in Jazz, and the Trumpet in Jazz. The wines we tasted were from Browns of Padthaway, Basedow, Haselgrove and Marienberg.
The concerts were recorded and are now brought to you in streaming audio by ozzyjazz.com. Each concert consists of three sets. Each set is approximately forty minutes, giving a total of some 8 hours of listening pleasure while you browse the Web or work on your computer.
